| SO I have decided to post about my most favorite hobby because we lack things to talk about. I facet gemstones! I love cutting them and putting them in jewelry. Any questions feel free to ask since I am going to school for gemology. What are your hobbies? Piece of blue quartz before I cut it. This is called "rough" This is after I cut it. The light hits it and it looks like a pinwheel. Sorry for poor picture quality. Glass Assorted glass that I cut An ear ring I made |

| Well I either keep them or give them away for right now. I'm still considered a novice so I can't really sell anything for a high price. What I need is a saw so I can cut the stones in half. Large pieces are not desirable when cutting. Do you make your own music at all? |

| well my father had a few watches laying around since i was young and occasionally i would pull them out and try to fix a few of the broken ones. i still consider myself a novice since i haven't done much but i can see that when i am working on them, i am really focused on it so i have a feeling that watch related stuff is what I'm going to end up doing. |

I hope you know that this is part of the school I go to because watches are considered jewelry. Check out GIA (Gemological institute of America) |
